Job summary

L.J.B & Co. Construction Recruitment is seeking a Contracts Manager for a growing specialist subcontractor delivering demolition, enabling works, groundworks and reinforced concrete structures across commercial, residential and industrial sectors.

You will oversee multiple contracts from pre-construction to completion, ensuring safe delivery on time and within budget, while maintaining strong client, design team and supplier relationships and coordinating with Directors, Project Managers and

Qualifications

• Experience in groundworks, demolition and reinforced concrete construction.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and methodology.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Lead project delivery and coordinate with Directors, Project Managers, Site Managers and Sub-Contractors.
• Produce and monitor construction programmes.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Review drawings, specifications and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Attend client, design team and progress meetings.
• Monitor project costs alongside Directors.
• Ensure quality assurance procedures are followed.
• Oversee site teams including Site Managers, Engineers and Supervisors.
• Ensure all RAMS, permits and construction documentation are completed.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.
