Job summary

Frontline Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead Groundworks & Civils projects in Essex. You will oversee all stages from pre-construction to completion, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable delivery across multiple schemes.

Key duties include programme, cost, quality, H&S and client satisfaction management; coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers; monitoring budgets and variations; and upholding high H&S and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' construction experience, ideally within Groundworks & Civils.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, H&S legislation and industry best practice.
• Experience managing multiple projects and teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Black CSCS or CCDO
• SMSTS
• First Aid at Work
• A relevant degree/qualification in Building Studies or QS-related field including industrial placement.

Salary: GBP55,000 - GBP60,000

We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join an established Groundworks & Civils team, overseeing projects from pre-construction through to completion.

This is a key management position responsible for the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of multiple projects, working closely with clients, subcontractors, site teams and senior management.
