Job summary

LJ.B & Co. Construction Recruitment is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, budget adherence and top quality.

You will work closely with Directors, Project Managers, site teams and subcontractors to drive successful contract outcomes. The ideal candidate will have groundworks, demolition and reinforced concrete experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and a full UK driving

Qualifications

• Previous experience within groundworks, demolition and reinforced concrete construction.
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing and methodology.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple live projects.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Lead project delivery from award through to completion.
• Produce and monitor construction programmes.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Review drawings, specifications.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Attend client, design team and progress meetings.
• Monitor project costs alongside Directors.
• Ensure quality assurance procedures are followed.
• Oversee site teams including Site Managers, Engineers and Supervisors.
• Ensure RAMS, permits and construction documentation are completed.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.
