Job summary

Vector Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Contract Manager for a fast-growing drainage contractor in Warwickshire. You will oversee contract delivery, safety, and P&L, while coordinating a depot team and on-site resources to meet targets.

Lead a ~40-strong drainage workforce, build strong client relationships, and manage works programmes and pricing. A standout opportunity with a competitive package including a company vehicle or car allowance and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Contract Manager in drainage/highways/utilities.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• CSCS card holder and health & safety qualification (SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely).
• Excellent leadership, planning and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for contract delivery, health & safety, and monthly P&L.
• Lead a small depot team in a flexible, innovative environment.
• Coordinate on-site resources with a focus on safe working practices.
• Manage contract performance, standards and targets.
• Line manage ~40 drainage personnel and address performance issues.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Develop and monitor works programmes and schedules of rates.
• Oversee cost control, monthly applications and contract pricing.
• Conduct regular site audits focusing on safety and quality.
