Job summary

Arguile is seeking a Contract Manager for Critical National Infrastructure in the energy sector. Based in Manchester with hybrid pattern, you’ll own high-value supplier contracts and conduct end-to-end governance, focusing on changes, disputes, and risk management throughout the contract lifecycle.

You’ll engage with internal stakeholders, drive performance, and deliver value-for-money while maintaining rigorous documentation and audit trails across £20m+ contracts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multiple contracts concurrently, each valued at £1m or more.
• Genuine post-signature contract management experience - change control, amendments, extensions, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building.
• A proactive, self-starting approach - ownership mindset.
• Strong financial forecasting and governance across contracts.
• Confident negotiation skills on contract changes and disputes.
• Rigorous documentation, compliance and audit-trail attention.
• Experience in a regulated sector (energy, utilities, telecoms, defense etc).

Responsibilities

• Owning complex, high-value supplier contracts critical to operations and security standards.
• Managing end-to-end financial forecasting and governance across contracts.
• Leading contract change and project requests, including extensions valued at £10m+.
• Leading contract negotiations and dispute resolution throughout the lifecycle.
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Driving continuous efficiencies and value-for-money improvements.
• Maintaining rigorous contract documentation and audit trails.
• Identifying, logging, and mitigating risk across the contract portfolio.
