BCL Legal is assisting a market-leading national law firm in Birmingham City Centre to recruit an experienced Contentious Construction Solicitor (Senior Associate). The role centers on high-value contentious construction work, offering mentoring and close partner access within a supportive team.

Applicants should have a minimum of 4 years' PQE and be qualified in England & Wales (or another common law jurisdiction).

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with at least 4 years' PQE in contentious construction.
• Experience in professional negligence claims would be advantageous.
• Confident in supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Focus on contentious construction matters within a mixed team when required.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and support staff.
• Develop client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior partners on disputes and strategy.
