Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to lead Consumer Gen AI and agentic strategy and delivery within Engineering, AI & Data services. You will work with Consumer clients, retailers, and cross‑firm teams to prioritise AI opportunities and shape delivery roadmaps across customer engagement, digital commerce, stores, marketing and supply chains.

You will combine industry insight with practical delivery experience to quantify benefits, manage governance, and enable scalable AI

Qualifications

• Strong experience in the Consumer industry, gained through consulting or industry roles.
• Experience working with retailers, consumer products, travel, hospitality or other customer-led businesses.
• Proven experience identifying GenAI, agentic automation opportunities and delivering roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior client conversations to identify GenAI opportunities and impact.
• Shape and prioritise AI and automation opportunity pipelines with value cases.
• Manage Deloitte and client teams through discovery, design and delivery of GenAI solutions across functions.
• Develop business cases and benefits frameworks to track value realisation.
• Translate industry trends into practical AI-enabled strategies and operating models.
