Job summary

ed Resourcing Ltd is seeking Senior VMware Consultants and Architects in Roxwell for outside IR35 contracts. The roles focus on enterprise VMware transformations, with a remote working pattern and flexible/hybrid arrangements depending on the project.

You will deploy VCF environments, configure vSphere and SDDC Manager, and implement NSX with micro-segmentation. A strong background in large infrastructure change programmes is essential for independent contracting work.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We’re working with a number of enterprise organisations looking for experienced VMware Consultants to support large-scale infrastructure transformation and cloud modernisation projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join high-profile programmes delivering VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), NSX and enterprise migration projects for well-known organisations.

What you'll be doing

• Deploying and configuring VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.
• Working with vSphere, SDDC Manager and VMware infrastructure technologies.
• Designing and implementing NSX networking and micro-segmentation solutions.
• Supporting enterprise infrastructure transformation and cloud migration projects.
• Providing technical consultancy throughout project lifecycles, from proof of concept through to production deployment.
• Working closely with architects, engineers and customer stakeholders to deliver best-practice VMware solutions.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years' experience working with VMware technologies.
• Strong commercial experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Excellent knowledge of vSphere, SDDC Manager and VMware infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with VMware NSX and network virtualisation.
• Experience delivering enterprise migration or infrastructure modernisation projects.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification is highly desirable.
• Strong customer-facing consultancy experience with the ability to communicate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
