Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is seeking a Senior VMware / VCF Infrastructure Engineer for a major UK defence programme in Reading, with a hybrid onsite requirement.

You will design, implement and migrate enterprise VMware infrastructure, focusing on VMware Cloud Foundation and NSX in security-sensitive environments; active SC clearance is required.

Qualifications

Rate: Up to £650 per day inside IR35

Location: Reading / Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite

Contract: 6-month rolling contract

I'm recruiting for a Senior VMware / VCF Infrastructure Engineer to join a major UK defence programme supporting a high-profile submarine project.

This is a genuinely interesting infrastructure transformation programme, centred around a significant on-premise to cloud migration, with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX at the heart of the solution. We're looking for someone who can design, implement and migrate enterprise VMware infrastructure and is comfortable working on complex, security-sensitive environments.

Expereince required:

• VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) - essential
• VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter
• NSX / NSX-T
• VMware infrastructure design & implementation
• On-premise to cloud migration
• Infrastructure transformation / SDDC
• vSAN, HCX and/or VMware Aria would be highly desirable
