Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Consultant or Principal Consultant to join our minerals and waste specialists. You will contribute, manage and deliver planning and environmental inputs to a wide client base across Town and Country Planning Act regimes and the Planning Act 2008, helping shape our continued growth.

This role is strategic, requiring leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, project delivery, bids, and budget management, with regular engagement of clients, regulators and

Qualifications

• Degree in Town Planning or related discipline is required.
• Membership of RTPI or IEMA/RICS is desirable.
• Experience delivering minerals and waste projects in the UK is essential.
• Strong understanding of the UK planning system and EIA process.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning and environmental inputs across a range of projects.
• Manage projects, bids, budgets and multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage with clients, regulators and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Lead and mentor project teams and contribute to business growth.
