Job summary

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivelent
• GMC specialist register
• Knowledge of Microbiology demonstrated through work history and supporting information
• Understanding of NHS structures, MDT roles and relationships
• Recent published clinical research in peer reviewed journal

Responsibilities

• Provide, maintain and develop laboratory and clinical microbiology and infection control service.
• Collaborate with staff in Microbiology, other Pathology disciplines and Public Health to ensure a service
• Engage with Healthwatch, NHS councils and universities as part of the service delivery
