RPS is seeking a Senior EIA Consultant to join our team, based in Abingdon, London, Cardiff, Manchester, or Edinburgh. We are engaged in some of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects, including large-scale energy developments such as solar, offshore wind, interconnectors, and energy storage. We are the EIA lead for projects like Gatwick Airport Northern Runway, Morgan and Mona Offshore Wind, and others.
Our collaborations include major energy companies such as bp renewables, EnBW, and others. We pride ourselves on our expertise in renewables, transport, and net zero initiatives, which ensures repeat business and strong industry reputation.
What you’ll be doing
You will work within a multidisciplinary team, managing EIA projects, providing advice on EIA regulations, and preparing Environmental Statements. Your role involves client interaction, report drafting, sign-offs, and mentoring junior staff.
Who we’re looking for
Ideal candidates will have strong report writing skills, experience managing EIA projects in a consultancy setting, and detailed knowledge of the EIA process. Digital EIA experience and familiarity with NSIPs/DCO projects are desirable. A relevant environmental degree and a full UK driving license are required.
