Job summary

Vincere is seeking a Construction Solicitor (Associate/Senior Associate) in Manchester to handle non-contentious and contentious construction matters. The role emphasizes high-quality work, flexibility, and growth within a specialist team serving contractors, developers and consultants.

The candidate should have 5+ years PQE in construction, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a track record in business development. Hybrid working and a generous benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in construction.
• Strong technical construction law experience and ability to manage own caseload.
• Excellent organisation, client-facing skills and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating construction documentation, including building contracts and collateral warranties.
• Advising on JCT and NEC contracts and standard form terms.
• Managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision and maintaining client relationships.
• Supervising junior team members and supporting staff, with cross-practice collaboration.
• Contributing to business development, updates and thought leadership.
• Producing high-quality legal advice and documentation.
• Participating in client training, seminars and BD activities.
