Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking an experienced Project Manager in the UK construction sector to lead a projects team, manage major contracts and drive successful delivery in a technical environment.

You will oversee a group of project coordinators, work with production, installation and sales teams, and be responsible for planning, budgeting and client satisfaction on high‑value projects. UK travel is expected and security checks are noted for further discussion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing multiple construction projects as a subcontractor.
• 2+ years delivering high‑value contracts over £5m adds value.
• Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
• Ability to interpret technical construction drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, organisational and commercial skills.
• CSCS card would be beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence and valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the projects team, overseeing project coordinators and allocating workloads effectively.
• Manage high‑value, complex contracts and support the delivery of multiple projects exceeding £5m in combined value.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring deadlines, budgets and customer requirements are met.
• Identify and manage contract variations, ensuring additional costs are agreed before work proceeds.
• Collaborate with production, installation and sales teams to maintain project efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor project progress, provide monthly updates and report on key milestones.
• Conduct post‑project reviews, identifying lessons learnt and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Attend site meetings and conference calls across the UK, with occasional international travel.
