Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Oxford to lead complex construction projects, coordinating the project team and interfacing with the client to deliver safe, on-time, and on-budget outcomes. You will manage scope, schedule, costs, QA, and HSE with a focus on excellence across multiple disciplines.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience managing large construction projects, engineering knowledge across Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural and Architectural packages, and

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or recognised trade qualification.
• 5-7 years’ experience managing large construction projects as a General Contractor.
• Thorough knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural and Architectural packages.
• Flexibility in working patterns where necessary.
• Ability to efficiently manage a team with clear direction and KPIs.
• Strong communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the project scope and delivery.
• Lead and interface with the project team and client to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Maintain site safety, QA, cost control, procurement planning and reporting across the project.
