Job summary

Hatched Recruitment Group in Belfast seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead major projects from inception to completion, acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

You will drive governance, programmes and reporting across commercial, healthcare, education, residential, infrastructure, public sector, regeneration and mixed-use developments, mentoring junior staff and supporting fee management.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Construction Project Management or related discipline.
• Experience delivering construction projects in consultancy, client-side or contractor environments.
• Knowledge of NEC, JCT or similar contracts.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management.
• Excellent programme, risk, reporting and commercial management skills.
• Experience with business development and fee management.
• Chartered status such as MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB preferred but not essential.
• Leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading projects through feasibility, design, procurement, construction and completion.
• Acting as the primary client contact and providing strategic project advice.
• Establishing and managing project governance structures.
• Developing project programmes, delivery strategies and reporting frameworks.
• Leading multidisciplinary consultant and stakeholder teams.
• Managing project scope, programme, quality, budget and performance.
• Identifying and managing project risks and mitigation strategies.
• Overseeing procurement and consultant/contractor appointments.
• Managing change control and providing commercial and strategic advice.
• Chairing senior project meetings and presenting project reports.
• Supporting contract administration and statutory approvals.
• Building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Supporting business development and fee management.
• Mentoring and developing junior team members.
