Job summary

Hatched Recruitment Group is recruiting an experienced Construction Project Manager for a Belfast-based consultancy. You will manage projects from inception to handover, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and reporting to clients.

This role spans commercial, healthcare, education, residential, infrastructure and public sector developments. Degree-qualified with experience across design, procurement and construction is essential; knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Construction Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Surveying or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering construction/property projects within consultancy, client-side or contractor environments.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and governance.
• Experience managing projects across design, procurement and construction.
• Knowledge of NEC, JCT or similar construction contracts.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong programme, risk and reporting skills.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of cost, risk and value management.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• MRICS/MAPM/MCIOB or equivalent desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from inception through to completion, coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop and maintain project programmes and delivery strategies.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and wider project stakeholders.
• Monitor scope, programme, quality, budget and project performance.
• Manage project risks, change control and mitigation strategies.
• Oversee procurement and consultant/contractor appointments.
• Chair project meetings and prepare client reports.
• Support contract administration and statutory approvals.
• Build strong client relationships and support business development.
• Contribute to the development of junior team members.
