Job summary

Mitie Group is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee and lead multiple construction and refurbishment projects in the Southern England region, with travels across Kent, Essex, and London. You will manage, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers, ensuring delivery excellence and adherence to NEC contracts and CDM regulations.

Based in the Kent/Essex/London region, you will drive complex programmes for central government and major clients, maintaining strong relationships

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing project teams in construction/refurbishment.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers, supporting performance and delivery standards.
• Allocate workloads, oversee team performance, and ensure project governance across the portfolio.
• Provide coaching on NEC contracts, CDM compliance, risk management, and client engagement.
• Champion best practice and continuous improvement across the PM function.
• Deliver multiple construction/refurbishment projects across RIBA stages with high-quality execution.
