Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join the Central Government Delivery team in Dover, Southern England. You will lead delivery of construction and refurbishment projects across Southern England, ensuring safety, compliance and timely handover.

You will manage stakeholders, monitor budgets and programmes, and act as the primary client contact, driving successful outcomes on high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction or refurbishment projects.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and CDM Regulations.
• SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (or working towards).
• Construction-related qualification desirable.
• Ability to obtain or hold SC level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of construction and refurbishment projects across all RIBA stages, from mobilisation through to final handover.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, NEC contracts, Building Regulations, and health and safety legislation.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Monitor project programmes, costs, risks, quality standards, and change control processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and project guidance.
