Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Planner to join our Construction team across regional locations in the UK. You will shape project delivery from tender through to handover on schemes ranging from £5M to £100M+.

This role offers remote working with some travel to regional offices as needed. You will lead integrated programmes, monitor progress, manage risks, and mentor junior planners, working with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure timely, high‑quality outcomes for our sites

Qualifications

• Experience in main contractor environments on projects £5M–£100M+
• Proficient with NEC and JCT contract forms
• Proficient in planning tools such as Asta Powerproject

Responsibilities

• Create fully integrated programmes with all disciplines and realistic timescales
• Monitor progress and provide clear reporting to project teams and clients
• Identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with subcontractors, clients and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Mentor junior members of the planning team and share expertise
