Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Construction Planner in Somerset. You will develop and manage construction programmes informed by federated BIM models, working with project managers, engineers and site teams on complex UK projects.

The role requires expertise in Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject, and experience on £50m+ schemes with a delivery-focused mindset. Immediate start and clear progression paths are available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Planner, Senior Planner, or Planning Engineer in construction.
• Ability to build a programme from a BIM model, not just update schedules.
• Experience on large-scale (£50m+) projects, ideally data centres or high-tech facilities.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject.
• Excellent communication and delivery-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage construction programmes informed by federated BIM models.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and site teams to align programme logic with installation methodology.
• Coordinate complex MEP/CSA sequences and interfaces to ensure programme certainty.
• Identify programme risks, constraints and clashes and drive mitigations.
• Track progress on site, produce accurate reports and support delivery teams.
