Future Engineering is seeking a Senior Planner in London to lead the development of fully coordinated construction programmes using federated BIM models. You will own the programme logic, sequence installation works and interface between disciplines on a major mission-critical project.

The role demands hands-on planning expertise on large-scale schemes, strong BIM knowledge, and the ability to drive mitigation actions, look-ahead planning and recovery programmes.

Qualifications

Experience as Senior Planner or Planning Engineer on complex construction projects.
Strong ability to build buildable programmes from drawings, scopes and BIM models.
Proven track record delivering large-scale projects (£50m+) in data centres, industrial or high-tech facilities.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed construction programmes informed by federated BIM models.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers and site teams to align logic with installation methods.
Manage complex MEP and CSA sequences across mission-critical projects.
Identify risks, constraints and clashes and implement practical mitigations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planner to join a leading contractor delivering a major mission‑critical construction project in Iver. This role is specifically suited to a planner who understands how projects are physically built-not someone who simply updates schedules.

You will take ownership of developing a fully coordinated and buildable construction programme, using federated BIM models to understand installation logic, sequencing and interfaces. You'll work in a fast‑paced, technically demanding environment where planning is central to successful project delivery.

Your Role as a Senior Planner Will Include:

Developing and managing detailed construction programmes informed by federated BIM models.
Working closely with project managers, engineers and site teams to align programme logic with installation methodology.
Coordinating complex MEP and CSA sequences and interfaces across a mission‑critical project.
Identifying programme risks, constraints and clashes early and developing practical mitigation strategies.
Monitoring site progress, producing accurate reports and maintaining programme integrity.
Supporting project teams with look‑ahead planning, critical‑path analysis and recovery programmes.

As a Senior Planner, You Will Need:

Experience working as a Senior Planner, Construction Planner or Planning Engineer.
A strong construction planning background on technically complex projects.
The ability to build programmes from drawings, scopes and BIM models-not simply maintain existing schedules.
Experience delivering large‑scale projects valued at £50 million or more, ideally within data centres, industrial or high‑tech facilities.
Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject.
A practical understanding of MEP and CSA construction sequencing.
Confident communication skills and a delivery‑focused mindset.
The flexibility to work site‑based in Iver.
