Job summary

Addleshaw Goddard LLP in Leeds or Manchester is seeking a 4–6 PQE non-contentious Construction Associate to join our market‑leading Construction & Engineering team. You’ll handle UK and international projects across energy, renewables, utilities, and infrastructure, helping shape client relationships and expanding the firm’s presence in the North.

You will work on complex development, procurement, and project delivery, with exposure to a broad client base, including FTSE utilities and energy

Qualifications

• 4–6 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law.
• Experience on complex construction and engineering projects.
• Strong drafting and contract negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support workstreams on major UK and international projects from procurement to delivery.
• Draft, review and negotiate construction contracts (JCT/NEC, etc.).
• Provide strategic commercial and risk guidance to clients.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team know-how.
