Job summary

O'Neill & Brennan is recruiting an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a major construction project near Sizewell C in Suffolk. You will lead safety on site, ensuring safe systems of work and compliance across management and site teams.

The ideal candidate has a UK Construction Health & Safety qualification and at least 5 years' experience with a Main Contractor, with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to risk management.

Qualifications

• UK Construction Health & Safety qualification required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working for a Main Contractor.
• Strong experience in a construction health and safety role.
• Experience working within a site-based construction environment.
• Good knowledge of UK construction health and safety requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive approach to identifying and managing health and safety risks.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the project's health and safety requirements.
• Work closely with project management and site teams to ensure safe systems of work and strong safety standards.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance throughout the project.
