Job summary

Melior Associates Ltd is seeking a Bid Manager to join a respected Tier 1 contractor delivering projects across the South Coast, from £10m to £60m. You'll be integral from the outset, shaping bid strategy and leading first-stage submissions.

You will work with the pre-construction team and later collaborate with estimating and design to support the client through the second stage, ensuring high-quality content and robust commercial messaging.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large, complex construction bids.
• Ability to produce high-quality first-stage submissions (PQQs and bid docs).
• Familiarity with two-stage procurement processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage high-quality first-stage submissions and bid strategy.
• Collaborate with estimating and design teams to keep client informed.
• Act as primary client contact throughout the bid and post-win stages.
• Lead the preparation of compelling, well-written bid content.
