Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Project Manager (Bid Manager) to lead the full bid and preconstruction process across the Midlands, guiding teams from engagement to contract award and PCSA completion.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, build client relationships, and drive winning strategies on 10m-100m projects across Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Leisure, Transport, Blue Light, and Public Sector sectors.

Qualifications

• Construction related degree or equivalent.
• Professional qualification such as MCIOB, MRICS, MAPM, or equivalent.
• Experience delivering bids between 10m and 100m.
• Framework and public-sector procurement experience.
• Proven experience leading complex bids and preconstruction activities within a main contractor environment.
• Strong understanding of two-stage tenders, PCSAs, and large-scale construction projects.
• Background in Preconstruction, Operations, Commercial, Design, Planning, or Estimating.
• Excellent client-facing, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially astute with strong risk management capabilities.

We are partnering with a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor to recruit a Senior Preconstruction Project Manager (Bid Manager) for their Midlands business.

Working closely with the Preconstruction Manager, you will lead the full bid and preconstruction process from initial engagement through to contract award and PCSA completion. You'll manage multidisciplinary teams, build strong client relationships, and drive winning strategies on projects ranging from 10m- 100m across sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Leisure, Transport, Blue Light, and Public Sector.
