Job summary

MBDA seeks an experienced Configuration professional to lead CM across our prestigious product portfolio in the UK. You will establish strong relationships with programme teams to deliver governance and ensure CM compliance throughout the lifecycle of our products.

The role is hybrid (1–2 days on-site) in Stevenage with a around £55,000 salary, plus a company bonus, pension and flexible benefits. British citizenship or dual UK nationality is required and BPSS checks apply after offer.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a Configuration Management discipline.
• Knowledge of CM principles, processes and standards (national and international).
• Technical understanding of complex weapon systems or defence systems desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to plan, lead and deliver CM activities.
• Operational knowledge of Def Stan 05-57, ISO10007 or EN9100 beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the application of Configuration Management processes across product portfolios.
• Build networks and maintain relationships with programmes to govern CM processes.
• Deliver strategic CM direction throughout the product lifecycle.
