Job summary

Safran Seats in Wales is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead, develop, and maintain the Configuration Management System (CMS) across programmes and products, ensuring governance, traceability and lifecycle control. You will align CMS with group processes, QMS, and regulatory standards, while driving improvements and reporting.

You will own the engineering change control process, drive standardisation, support Windchill PLM deployment, and deliver KPI data to enhance efficiency and governance

Qualifications

• CMII Level 6 Certified or equivalent
• Proficient in PLM/CGS tools used in aerospace
• Experience in Aerospace or Automotive industries
• Familiarity with Boeing and Airbus specs and requirements
• Strong change control, release, and governance skills

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and maintain the CMS across programmes and products
• Own and optimise the engineering change process and CCBs
• Produce/configuration management data and KPI reports
• Align CMS with Group, regulatory and QMS requirements
• Support Windchill PLM deployment and performance improvements
