Job summary

Safran Seats is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead and maintain the CMS across programme lifecycles, ensuring traceability and governance of configurations. You will align CMS with global processes and QMS requirements while owning change control and KPI reporting.

The role includes optimizing engineering change practices, collaborating with Change and Programme Management teams, and supporting Windchill PLM deployment to strengthen configuration governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• CMII Level 6 Certified or equivalent understanding of CMS principles.
• Experience with PLM systems (CATIA V5, SmarTeam) in aerospace/automotive contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and maintain the CMS for Safran Seats across programmes and products.
• Ensure CMS alignment with group processes, QMS, and regulatory standards.
• Own and optimise engineering change control with clear roles and effective CCBs.
