THE ROLE

The Senior Conference Producer will play a pivotal role in shaping the quality of the conference agendas and sourcing industry-leading speakers for events. This position is essential for developing high-quality conference programs that resonate with our audience and meet the evolving needs of the industry.

1. Research the related industries to identify relevant agenda topics, speakers, and competitor activity.
2. Proactively plan and curate agenda topics, ensuring they reflect current trends and interests in the industry.
3. Engage, network, and build relationships with key industry figures to source high-quality speakers.
4. Collaborate with the content and editorial teams to align agenda topics with speaker expertise and audience interests.
5. Liaise with the sales team to maximise sponsorship opportunities and generate revenue through strategic speaking engagements.
6. Manage relationships with conference sponsors who are also speakers or panellists, ensuring their representation enhances the overall program.
7. Oversee agenda management and speaker logistics, ensuring all participants are adequately prepared for events.
8. Organise pre-event panel calls and confirm AV specifications for presentations.
9. Manage event delivery on-site for all events, ensuring a seamless experience for speakers and attendees.
10. Collaborate with the marketing team to highlight key speakers in promotional campaigns and content marketing.

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates should have similar experience gained from working within a commercial conference organiser at a senior level. Candidates must have a proven background of working in a conference production capacity previously with a proven capability in creating professional and engaging agendas, copy and content. Candidates must be confident researching, identifying and recruiting speakers at a senior level. Candidates must have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and be highly motivated with a proven ability of working across multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
