Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Component Repair Lead / Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) to provide technical leadership in repair design and verification across service-run components. You will assess damage, define robust repair solutions, and ensure airworthiness requirements are met within a global MRO network.

This senior technical role emphasizes engineering decisions, collaboration with Design, Materials and Supplier teams, and potential progression toward CVE accreditation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Significant aero-engine industry experience, especially in Repair Design or Component Repair.
• Experience with airworthiness, certification and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading technical repair solutions and documenting verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and substantiate repair definitions, assess damage and non-conformance.
• Provide technical leadership for repair design, ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Define validation and verification for repair methods and demonstrate equivalence.
• Review and approve technical documentation and variances as CVE when authorised.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Repair Technology, and global MRO teams.
