Job description

Job Title: Senior Component Engineer

Location: Hertfordshire, Stevenage

Job Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hours, 1-2 days per week on site

Primary Industry: Aerospace and Aviation

Secondary Industry: Engineering

Job Duties:
  1. Design and develop components for aerospace and aviation systems
  2. Conduct analysis and testing of components to ensure they meet industry standards
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate components into larger systems
  4. Provide technical support and guidance throughout the component development process
  5. Document all design and testing processes for future reference
Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  2. Proven experience in component engineering within the aerospace industry
  3. Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills
  5. Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Master's degree in Engineering or related field
