Job summary

Selwood Housing is seeking a Compliance Project Surveyor (Level 3) to deliver safety-critical compliance programmes across our housing portfolio. You will manage contracts, drive improvements and oversee works from planning to delivery, with a focus on fire safety, water hygiene, lift safety and other non-M&E disciplines.

The role emphasizes collaboration with colleagues and contractors to maintain safe, compliant homes and deliver excellent customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or extensive relevant experience in Construction/Building Surveying or related discipline.
• Significant experience in compliance management within a social housing environment.
• Proven budget management, contractor performance management, procurement and delivering projects from inception through to completion.
• Strong technical expertise in compliance management, with the ability to influence stakeholders and contribute to service improvements.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
• Commitment to an inclusive environment; willing to complete Right to Work, DVLA and DBS checks; ability to work at height and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance contracts and projects across our housing portfolio with a focus on fire safety, water hygiene, lift safety and other non-M&E disciplines.
• Oversee programmes from planning through to delivery, ensuring works are safe, efficient and compliant with legislation.
• Drive high standards of compliance performance, manage risk and support fire risk assessment programmes and improvement works.
• Collaborate with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant homes and customer outcomes.
