Job summary

Selwood Housing seeks an experienced Compliance Manager to lead the operational delivery of compliance programmes, ensuring homes are safe and services compliant. You will oversee the performance of Compliance Project Surveyors and Supervisors, manage budgets and contractors, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, M&E and Operational Administration, you’ll champion customer-focused services and ensure statutory obligations are met while

Qualifications

• Level 5 or above in building / construction related qualification or equivalent experience/qualification.
• Relevant Leadership qualification CMI / ILM or equivalent level 3 or above.
• Extensive knowledge and experience within management of compliance programmes.
• Excellent construction/maintenance technical knowledge.
• Leadership skills to lead & motivate a range of teams of professional and support staff to deliver excellent services to our customers.
• Knowledge of current legislation, codes of practice and regulations relating to building and maintenance.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive environment where colleagues and customers are treated with fairness, dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of compliance services to keep homes safe and compliant.
• Oversee multiple compliance programmes, contractor performance, budgets and KPIs.
• Provide leadership to Compliance Project Surveyors and Compliance Supervisors.
• Ensure programmes are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
