Job Description:

We are partnering with an exceptional investment manager currently in an exciting phase of growth to hire for a newly created Compliance Operations position.

Based in London, this role will sit within the Compliance team and take end-to-end ownership of regulatory, trade, and transaction reporting, as well as play a key role in the design and oversight of systems and controls that support these functions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and delivering projects focused on compliance and operational systems enhancements
• Overseeing regulatory and transaction reporting processes (including AIFMD, MiFID, EMIR, SFTR, CSDR)
• Supporting broader compliance initiatives, including trade surveillance and other adjacent areas

This is a rare opportunity to shape a newly created role with a global remit, offering real impact and visibility across the business.

The ideal candidate will combine strong regulatory knowledge with a deep understanding of financial products and markets, and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Skills and qualifications

• A least 5 years’ experience in a buy-side compliance / reg operations team. Experience at an asset manager, hedge fund, or other comparable firm is a plus.
• Ops and/or IT/technology interest and/or skillset
• Experience with Cappitech, c3, FundApps, Broadridge, preferred
• Management Information reporting interest
• Strong comprehension, analytical and decision-making skills with sound judgment.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative and teamwork skills.
• Results oriented with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline focused environment and to deliver in a timely manner with the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Ability to efficiently and effectively solve problems, including by designing, implementing and maintaining organizational solutions for large bodies of data, text and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), including ability to raise and communicate complex issues accurately and succinctly to personnel at all levels.
