About the team

You’ll lead our Operations team, which includes people, talent, and strategy. Additionally, you will lead our support and growth teams, collaborating with senior leadership to make Argent a top workplace and industry innovator. Our goal is to attract and retain exceptional Argonauts while providing the foundation for everyone to do their best work.

As our Director of Strategy & Operations, you will get to:

• Own all of Argent’s internal operations, ensuring a high-performance organization driven by clear strategy and goals.
• Assist our founders in strategy and scaling the company's operations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring a well-defined strategy with clear goals communicated across the business.
• Continuously improving our people processes to maintain top employee retention.
• Leading projects related to coaching, learning and development programs, and managerial coaching.
• Working closely with founders to understand and enhance our company culture.
• Aligning product, marketing, engineering, support, and ecosystem teams towards strategic objectives.
• Starting with minimal viable processes and iterating based on results.
• Executing quickly on ideas and iterating.

Your experience should include:

• 5+ years experience working in a technology startup.
• Experience working with founders, with a strong product focus and quick execution.
• Strong operational management skills with a results-oriented approach.
• STEM background preferred; data-driven leadership.
• Experience leading multiple distributed teams.

You might also have:

• Experience in remote-first startups.
• 2+ years in Strategy Consulting or investment banking.
• Deep familiarity with blockchain industry and Layer 2 networks.
• Program & Project Management skills to facilitate communication and remove roadblocks.
