Job summary

Starling Bank in Manchester is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join our team as a critical second line of defence, guiding and protecting the business. You will provide expert regulatory compliance advice while delivering robust oversight to 1LoD teams.

This role focuses on ensuring the business meets its regulatory obligations, proactively manages compliance and conduct risk, and drives good customer outcomes across operations.

Qualifications

• Provide product specific regulatory compliance advice to 1LoD/business teams.
• Cover current and future products, services and activities with compliance guidance.
• Work with 1LoD to foster collaboration and oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide product specific advice as part of Conduct & Compliance Advice team to 1LoD/business teams.
• Coverage of Consumer Duty, conduct risk, SMCR, outsourcing, product governance and other regulatory requirements.
• Build relationships with 1LoD to deliver collaborative oversight.
