Job summary

Together Financial Services Limited is seeking a Compliance Manager to provide second line of defence oversight and regulatory guidance across the business, ensuring compliant customer outcomes. You will collaborate with Product, Sales, Operations and Intermediary Relations to enable risk-aware decision making and maintain an effective compliance framework.

Qualifications

• Experience in Compliance, Risk or Regulatory Advisory within mortgage, lending or wider financial services.
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and guidance (MCOB, Consumer Duty).
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements in customer journeys, policies and governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills to assess regulatory and conduct risks and provide risk-based recommendations.
• Proactive horizon scanning to identify emerging regulatory developments and impacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to build relationships and provide pragmatic, constructive challenge to business stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Curious mindset with continuous improvement approach.
• Collaborative and solutions-focused with customer outcomes in mind.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely regulatory advice to business units to meet compliance requirements and support good customer outcomes.
• Review customer communications, policies and procedures for regulatory alignment.
• Identify and escalate conduct risks and regulatory concerns via established escalation procedures.
• Support regulatory change initiatives across business processes and change programs.
• Attend working groups to provide compliance input to activities.
• Maintain compliance policies, procedures and guidance under senior guidance.
• Conduct horizon scanning and communicate potential regulatory impacts.
• Build effective relationships and provide guidance to stakeholders to support compliance and risk management.
• Assist in producing compliance MI, reports and dashboards for oversight.
