Job description

Senior Compliance Manager

Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, this Senior Compliance Manager position is a vital part of the Office of the General Counsel team.

This role involves overseeing operations and managing non-lawyer personnel within a global compliance framework. You will collaborate with the legal compliance team to support and implement compliance strategies and initiatives that align with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.

This position is based in the London office and operates on a hybrid working basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage a global team of compliance professionals at various levels.
  2. Act as a liaison between the compliance team and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration on compliance matters.
  3. Develop and identify the need for compliance-related training for relevant business functions.
  4. Stay updated with regulatory changes and compliance requirements relevant to the organization.
  5. Conduct research, analyze data, and generate reports as required by the legal compliance team, Deputy General Counsel, Audit and Advisory, and others.
  6. Possess well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  7. Have extensive management experience, ideally 8+ years.
  8. Experience managing global compliance teams for multinational service organizations or law firms.
  9. Strong knowledge of compliance areas such as AML, sanctions, anti-bribery, and regulatory risk is highly desirable.
