Job summary

The Saab UK Seaeye unit in Fareham is seeking a Senior Compliance Engineer to lead regulatory compliance for underwater robotics products. The role involves ensuring all products meet CE, UL, FCC and industry standards, preparing technical files, and coordinating with internal teams and external labs.

You will monitor evolving regulations, support design reviews, and drive improvements in compliance processes while travelling occasionally for audits and assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with EN 61010 and EN 60204 LVD safety standards.
• Knowledge of EMC standards and CE/FCC directives.
• Experience with environmental testing per CE LVD requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Control and maintain product compliance to CE, UL, FCC and industry standards.
• Create and maintain technical files and declarations.
• Monitor new regulations and assess impact on products.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external labs for test activities.
• Analyse test results and update compliance plans.
• Present compliance status to stakeholders and auditors.
• Support design reviews to ensure products meet accreditation.
• Contribute to process improvements within the department.
