The shift pattern for these two positions involves hybrid working, with two days in the office at Walton Annex, Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Join our Commercial Team, responsible for managing national contracts tendered by National Procurement for Health Boards, along with local contracting and tendering activities. Our work ensures legal compliance and identifies cost-saving opportunities aligned with the Sustainability & Value Programme. These roles have been created following a departmental review to meet evolving service needs and to develop an optimal skill mix for the future.
The Commercial Procurement teams focus on implementing national contracts and enhancing local Health Board contracting across categories such as Medical/Surgical Consumables, Facilities, Estates, Corporate, and Capital Equipment, including maintenance contracts. There is also a dedicated team for Sustainability & Value activities.
