Join our Commercial Team, responsible for managing national contracts tendered by National Procurement on behalf of Health Boards, alongside local contracting and tendering activities. Our work ensures legal compliance and identifies cost-saving opportunities to support the Sustainability & Value Programme.
These roles were created following a departmental review to meet evolving service needs and to develop an optimal skill mix for the future. The teams focus on implementing national contracts and advancing local contracting across categories such as Medical/Surgical Consumables, Facilities, Estates, Corporate, and Capital Equipment purchases, including maintenance contracts. There is also a dedicated team for Sustainability & Value activities.
