Gloucestershire County Council is recruiting a Senior Commissioning Manager (Contracts) to lead the Adult Social Care Contracts Team in Gloucester. The role focuses on strategic oversight, performance, compliance and value for money across a broad portfolio of complex contracts.

You will drive governance, dashboards and data quality, working with commissioning, finance, legal and providers to secure high-quality outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Substantial leadership with a track record of managing teams and performance.
• Experience with complex contractual arrangements and service portfolios.
• Understanding of contract management frameworks, governance and assurance.
• Experience using contract management or commissioning systems and dashboards.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day leadership and development for the Contracts Team.
• Lead a diverse portfolio covering regulated care and other commissioned services.
• Ensure contractual compliance, risk management and performance data accuracy.
• Lead negotiations, contract reviews and variations.
• Oversee governance, reporting and decision-making across teams.
