Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council's Adult Social Care Commissioning team is seeking a Commissioning Officer (Contracts) to support the new Contract Management Framework, monitor performance, and secure value for money for vulnerable adults.

You will coordinate provider self‑assessments, KPI reporting, data analysis, and reporting tool development, ensuring robust governance and proactive risk management across contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and/or social care, commissioning, contract management or assurance.
• Strong governance, compliance and risk management understanding.
• Ability to work on multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively.
• Experience using large datasets to identify trends and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contract management processes, including provider self-assessments and monitoring.
• Develop reporting tools to strengthen provider intelligence and decision-making.
• Analyse contract and performance data to support reporting and improvement.
• Support development of new processes and ways of working in a dynamic environment.
