Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking a commercially minded solicitor for a Senior Associate/Managing Associate role in Bristol. The role covers a broad range of commercial and technology matters for a diverse client base, including start-ups, scale-ups, corporates and public sector organisations.

You will advise on commercial contracts, technology agreements, outsourcing, IP licensing, data protection and regulatory compliance, as well as agency/distribution/franchising and related corporate support.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with ideally 5+ years' PQE in Commercial and/or Technology law.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience advising a broad range of commercial clients.
• Interest in developing client relationships and business opportunities.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience or interest in technology, AI, data protection or other sector specialisms would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Advise on commercial contracts and trading arrangements.
• Advise on technology, software and SaaS agreements.
• Support outsourcing and managed services projects.
• Handle IP licensing matters and data protection/regulatory compliance.
• Assist with agency, distribution and franchising arrangements.
• Provide commercial support on corporate transactions and projects.
