Job summary

Chadwick Nott in Bristol is seeking an Associate to Senior Associate or Managing Associate to join its Commercial Property team. The role focuses on acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, asset management and complex transactions.

You will advise high-quality clients, draft and negotiate property agreements, mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the growth of the team in a collaborative, hybrid-working environment.

Qualifications

• 2-6+ years' PQE (flexible for the right candidate, including MA level)
• Strong technical skills across a broad range of commercial property matters
• Pragmatic, commercial approach to advising clients
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Confidence managing files independently and supporting complex transactions
• Interest in business development and contributing to team success
• Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for supporting junior colleagues

Responsibilities

• Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
• Handling landlord and tenant matters, including leases and lease negotiations
• Working on telecoms matters and associated property issues
• Managing asset management work for investors, lenders, landlords and tenants
• Leading transactions from instruction through to completion
• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial property agreements
• Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser
• Collaborating with colleagues across the wider Transactional Property Group
• Supporting business development and contributing to team growth
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and trainees (for senior candidates)
