Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Estimator – Commercial Refurbishment in Bedfordshire for a main contractor involved in commercial and industrial refurbishment projects. You will conduct take-offs, develop cost estimates and pricing, and help appraise subcontractor quotations to support bid submissions.

The role requires pricing expertise on large-scale refurbishment schemes, strong communication skills, and IT literacy.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience as an Estimator within a main contractor.
• Experience refurbishing large-scale industrial and commercial projects.
• Pricing construction projects and preparing tender submissions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Take-offs to support accurate project assessments.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing.
• Assist with obtaining and reviewing subcontractor quotations and supplier costs.
• Support contract review meetings with the Contracts Department for secured projects.
• Manage multiple deadlines with accuracy, organisation, and quality standards.
