Job summary

Chadwick Nott in Exeter is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate/Managing Associate to join its Commercial Property team on a permanent, hybrid basis. The role offers a broad commercial property workload in a supportive, high performing team environment.

The successful candidate will handle acquisitions, disposals, landlord/tenant work, asset management and lead transactions from instruction to completion, with opportunities to supervise juniors and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• 2-6+ years' PQE (flexible for strong candidates).
• Strong technical skills across a broad commercial property caseload.
• Commercial, solutions focused approach.

• Ability to manage files independently and support complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise on commercial property acquisitions and disposals.
• Handle landlord and tenant matters, including leases and renewals.
• Work on telecoms matters and associated property issues.
• Manage asset management work for investors, lenders, landlords and tenants.
• Lead transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
• Draft and negotiate commercial property documentation.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver pragmatic, commercial advice.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the wider Transactional Property Group.
• Support business development and contribute to team growth.
• Supervise junior lawyers and trainees (for senior candidates).
