Job summary

Great British Nuclear is seeking a Commercial Manager to join the IPT team, overseeing a portfolio of NEC4 Professional Services contracts. You will deliver day-to-day contract management, reporting, and governance, ensuring performance, cost control, risk management, and compliance across high-profile programs.

You will drive stakeholder engagement, lead on value-for-money strategies, and support with change control, benefits realization, and continuous improvement in a post-contract

Qualifications

• Has experience in managing one or more contracts of medium to high complexity/value/risk.
• Has experience in managing NEC Professional Services Contracts.
• Strong understanding of contract management and the principles of end-to-end commercial lifecycle management.
• Solid comprehension of the principles of contract law.

Responsibilities

• Contract management for high-profile, complex contracts and related activities.
• Manage delivery and performance of contracts, cost assessments, and changes.
• Ensure governance, performance management, escalation, risk management, and compliance.
• Manage contract variations and provide strategic direction.
• Support development of programme-wide change control frameworks and cross-functional collaboration.
• Evaluate return on investment and value for money in contracts.
• Oversee realization of benefits and challenge non-delivery of benefits.
• Drive innovation and improvements in contracts.
• Manage risk/reward mechanisms in contracts and KPIs.
• Identify changes required and implement strategies.
• Perform contract exit activities and ensure smooth transitions.
• Evaluate supplier performance against contract terms to ensure outcomes.
• Maintain management information and reporting; work within secure environments.
