Senior Commercial Manager

Hybrid (Bridgwater, 3 days on site)

A great opportunity to join the UK’s flagship nuclear project. We’re hiring a Senior Commercial Manager to lead the commercial performance of major contracts and ensure delivery aligns with programme, cost and risk targets.

Role Overview

You’ll support contract creation and award, then take full ownership post-award — managing change, variations, claims, risk, supplier performance and commercial governance. You’ll work closely with procurement, project delivery, engineering and finance to drive value and maintain contractual compliance.

You Will

• Lead commercial management across assigned contracts
• Oversee cost reporting, KPIs, progress reviews and forecasting
• Manage contract changes, claims, risks and supplier performance
• Provide clear commercial advice to project/delivery teams
• Support procurement, negotiation and tender evaluations
• Maintain accurate commercial records and ensure governance compliance

You Bring

• Strong commercial & contract management experience (major infrastructure/energy preferred)
• Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills
• Solid understanding of risk, change, claims and performance reporting
• Degree in QS/Commercial Management (chartered or working towards it)
• Eligibility for UK Security Vetting (typically 3 of last 5 years UK residency)
